Identifying rocks by geologists and selecting them to use as natural stones in architecture and landscaping, requires careful testing and setting quality demands for colour, textures and shapes. Only when all this has been properly executed, does our company offer a new product to the market. Where feasible these products are registered with a trademark (R).
Unfortunately in the real world, it’s unavoidable that high quality products are copied, without following all quality, nor legal and/or environmental demands. This happens in all types of industries, buyers do know that prices/qualities ratios often indicate the reliability of the product. In our “stone product” world same criteria apply, further it’s always recommended to ask your supplier about the background of the materials offered. Many companies have no idea at all of the quality and origin of the natural stone they offer.
Natural stones are a major part of the character and ambiance of your property and they can add tremendous value to your property, the purchase costs can be substantial, be therefore always extremely careful to investigate the product supplier. Buying for the lowest price as your only factor, may lead to huge regrets later on.
Porcelain tiles also have huge quality variations, many are not suitable for floor tiles or become shiny after a short time. Prices provide an indication, but again always check with your supplier to make that you get the quality you expect and deserve.
